From overwhelm
to ownership.

Clarity that moves you forward

You know what to do. The challenge is making it work in real life.

You are capable, committed, and accustomed to carrying significant responsibility. You juggle competing priorities, meet high expectations, and continue achieving—but often at the cost of feeling exhausted, unfulfilled, and out of alignment with what matters most.

You may not need more information, motivation, or discipline. You may need space to think, clarity about what matters, and a practical system that supports the life you actually have.

My approach combines health and wellness coaching, behavior-change science, clinical experience, leadership insight, and systems thinking. Together, we identify what matters, understand what is getting in the way, and create realistic steps toward greater health, energy, and ownership.

The goal is not perfection. It is sustainable progress.

Melissa R. Troncoso, founder of The Health Whisperer

Meet Melissa

Coaching insight. Clinical expertise. Leadership experience. Human connection.

I am Dr. Melissa R. Troncoso—a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach, family nurse practitioner, researcher, educator, military leader, and founder of Melissa Troncoso Coaching and Consulting, LLC.

For more than two decades, I have worked in demanding environments where service, excellence, and responsibility matter deeply. I understand the pressure to contribute meaningfully, meet high expectations, care for others, and keep everything moving. I have also had to learn how to set boundaries, protect my health, and create a life in which professional contribution, family, and personal well-being can coexist.

That journey changed the way I think about health. Caring for the body and the whole self is not separate from leadership or professional responsibility. It is an act of stewardship—and an essential part of sustaining the energy, clarity, and capacity required to lead and serve well.

My work draws on coaching, clinical practice, research, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I consider both the individual and the systems and cultures shaping their choices. This allows me to help professionals and organizations move beyond information alone, uncover what is getting in the way, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach combines evidence with compassion, reflection with action, and encouragement with honest challenge. I believe people need less shame and noise—and more clarity, support, and practical strategies that fit their real lives.

My mission is to educate, encourage, and equip people in high-demand roles to live healthy, purpose-driven lives.

A genuinely valuable session on thriving in high demand roles without losing yourself. Polished, professional, and especially relevant for leaders and leadership teams. I highly recommend Melissa as a speaker.

Lew DyerDirector, Population Health

One of the main things I took away from Melissa's workshop was the realization that I wasn't looking at all areas of my life when I was thinking about health and wellness. Health and wellness is so much more than just nutrition or movement; it includes rest, mental health, social connection, and spiritual health. I came away from the workshop with an awareness and desire to find more balance in all the areas of my life.
